If you're considering a stay at Foundry Guest Lodge, I'd say it offers a solid balance between luxury and affordability, perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of life, even from serene places like the Maldives. Upon arrival, we appreciated the late-night assistance; the guard opening the door for us past midnight was a thoughtful touch. The Lodge's facilities are quite spacious, with clean, comfortable beds and a warm atmosphere that made settling in easy. Breakfast is a highlight-generous portions and well-prepared food. The staff, particularly at reception, were diligent and ready to help with our requests, such as promptly replacing a leaking kettle. Speaking of service, attention to detail was evident; our rooms had daily cleaning, and extra towels and toiletries were always available on request. For groups, the cottage setup is favorable. We booked it for four couples and enjoyed our shared time, catching the rugby finals at the bar, undisturbed. Foundry Guest Lodge could be an excellent option for travelers focused on value without compromising comfort.
